# Claude Code

## Install

Install the CLI first (see [Agent overview](/agent/overview#requirements)), then add the plugin marketplace and the plugin:

```

The marketplace is the GitHub repository `Brennoaltair/shadcn-maestro`; adding it requires access to that repository. For automatic plugin updates, git needs `GITHUB_TOKEN` or `GH_TOKEN` in the environment.

## Run

Open a session in your app's directory and invoke the skill with the change you want:

/shadcn-maestro:design-apply turn the settings page into tabs with a card per section
```

Then follow [the flow](/agent/flow): the agent shows the stack and pages, asks which page and mode, and waits for your answers.

## How the plugin runs

The plugin carries no copy of the CLI. Its binaries run the global `shadcn-maestro` package and stop with exit 127 and the install command when it is missing or is another version than the plugin's.

| `shadcn-maestro` | Runs the global `shadcn-maestro` CLI, checking that its version matches the plugin |
| `shadcn-maestro review` | Opens the independent reviewer session (`claude -p`), optionally with `--url <app-url>` for browser evidence |

Claude Code appends the plugin's `bin/` to the PATH after your own directories, so the skill calls the plugin binaries by absolute path. `shadcn` and `agent-browser` run from your PATH.
